Under the Hood
The word cloud engine is based on `d3-cloud`, implementing a force-directed layout algorithm. Words are sized proportional to their Term Frequency (TF). The layout uses a spiral placement strategy, attempting to place the largest words in the center and working outward, checking for bounding box collisions at each step to ensure no overlap. Stopwords are filtered using a predefined list of common English articles and prepositions.
